Chabad bets on vetted human matchmaking to fill the trust gap in AI dating

The core weakness in AI-assisted dating is epistemic, not algorithmic.

Matching engines can optimize on preferences, behavioral signals, and demographic data, but they carry no mechanism to verify that the person on the other end of the screen is who the profile claims, or that the messages arriving are their own.

That gap is where Chabad, the Jewish organization, is positioning its Met@Chabad platform.

The August 9 event and how it runs On August 9, Met@Chabad is scheduled to host what it describes as the world's largest Jewish virtual speed dating event, drawing 13,000 singles from more than 30 countries.
