Enflame soars 206% on Shanghai debut as AI chip demand stays hot

Chinese AI chipmaker Enflame posted a 206% gain on its first day of trading in Shanghai, one of the sharper debut returns for a domestic AI semiconductor company in the current market cycle.

Enflame competes directly with Nvidia and carries the informal designation of one of China's "four little dragons," a cohort of domestic chip developers building hardware for the same AI workloads.

The "four little dragons" label marks a specific group of Chinese AI chip companies targeting the same customers as Nvidia. Enflame's Shanghai listing makes it a publicly traded vehicle for that competitive position.

For investors, the 206% first-day move reflects the premium they are currently willing to pay for domestic AI hardware exposure at a moment when AI demand has remained firm.
