Harley-Davidson Deadwood and Indian Chief Vintage Sturgis SD Edition debut as 86th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally opens in South Dakota

OEM product calendar The 86th edition of the rally is underway, and Harley-Davidson is using it to debut the Deadwood motorcycle.

Motor Sports NewsWire described it as "a new model inspired in part by the post-war history of the Sturgis Rally." Indian Motorcycle is introducing the Chief Vintage Sturgis SD Edition, which Rider Magazine reported features classic two-tone Indian Motorcycle Red and Cream paint with a multicolored Indian Motorcycle headdress logo, and special badging drawn from Indian designs of the 1930s.
