That dynamic resolved in one direction this week: Miley's 'Bass Persuades' entered at No. 2 behind R&B artist Jhené Aiko, whose album 'Westside Whimsy' retained the top position.
The debut was the highest-ranked incoming title of the week. 'Bass Persuades' did not arrive in a quiet chart period.
The album led a group of six new entries, all landing inside the top 10 within the same tracking cycle.
