One Dead, One Critical After Double Stabbing at Brooklyn's Dyker Beach Park

A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead and a 30-year-old man remained in critical condition Saturday after a double stabbing at Dyker Beach Park in Brooklyn, New York, according to the New York City Police Department.

Officers from the 68th precinct responded to a 911 call just before 2 p.m. near the intersection of 86th Street and 14th Avenue, finding both victims with stab wounds to their bodies.

A person of interest has since been taken into police custody.

The Attack and Police Response The NYPD confirmed officers were dispatched to the corner of 86th Street and 14th Avenue, on the boundary of Dyker Beach Park, after a caller reported two stabbing victims.
