Randy Fine (R-Fla.) stated that Democrats support Iran because they dislike President Donald Trump, according to an interview with Fox News Digital.
The congressman linked this political stance to the broader threat of radical Islam, arguing that the U.S. is losing the battle against the ideology.
Fine claimed that mainstream Islamic religious leaders in Iran can detect Democratic opposition and are therefore delaying conflict in hopes of outlasting current political leadership.
Fine asserted that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps recently called on American voters to oppose Trump in the midterm elections. He described this move as evidence that Democrats are aligned with the Iranian regime.
