Last season Achane ran for 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns and added 488 receiving yards and four scores through the air. He goes into Week 1 with less support than he had in 2025, against a Las Vegas defense that already struggled to contain opposing offenses.
Las Vegas holds the first overall pick from the most recent draft. That player is not expected to see regular-season action unless Kirk Cousins sustains an injury. Head coach Klint Kubiak enters Week 1 with offensive consistency and a more capable defense as his stated goals for the Raiders.
