Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have. We keep it minimal on purpose.

01 // What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. When you visit NewsNTech, our servers and content network automatically record standard request data — IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your visit. These server logs keep the site secure and help us diagnose problems.

If you subscribe to a newsletter, we collect the email address you give us. That is optional, and you only give it when you ask to hear from us. If you contact the newsroom, we keep the message you send and the address you sent it from so we can reply.

02 // How we use it

We use request data to operate, secure, and improve the site. We use your newsletter email only to send the digests and updates you signed up for. We use contact messages only to respond to you. We do not sell your personal data.

03 // Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to remember your preferences and to measure, in aggregate, which stories get read. Analytics tell us how many people visited a page, not who you are personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, though some preferences will not be remembered.

04 // Third parties and our CDN

NewsNTech is delivered through a content delivery network that caches our pages close to you. That provider processes the standard request data described above on our behalf so the site loads quickly and stays online. We may also use a privacy-minded analytics service and an email provider for the newsletter.

These providers handle data only to deliver their service to us. We do not allow them to use your data for their own advertising.

05 // Data retention

We keep server logs for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then delete or anonymize them. We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe. We keep contact correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request.

06 // Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time using the link in every email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

07 // Contact
