Apple has released iOS 27.2, enabling Apple Pencil support on the iPhone Duo. The software update also introduces an "Edge Light" feature designed to illuminate the user's face during video calls. Apple had previously stated that the iPhone Duo would receive Apple Pencil compatibility later this year.
The company's first foldable device operates with revamped iOS 17 controls engineered to function across its 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer screen. Major applications, including Netflix, Prime Video, and Microsoft Outlook, currently support the Duo's expanded screen real estate, though some apps require further development. The iOS 27.2 update also permits additional functionality for the device.
