Procore Technologies, Inc. has designated COMPASS by Bespoke Metrics as its preferred subcontractor prequalification solution, launching a product called Prequal for All that is available to Procore customers immediately. The announcement, made on Oct. 15, 2026, in Toronto, expands the partnership between the construction management software provider and the risk assessment firm.

Prequal for All integrates COMPASS prequalification into the Procore platform for every general contractor and subcontractor using the system. Subcontractors maintain a single standardized profile containing financial, safety, insurance, and operational data. This profile remains current and can be shared with any general contractor the subcontractor selects. The network currently includes more than 150,000 subcontractors.

COMPASS analyzes this data to generate the COMPASS Q Score, also known as the Construction Credit Score, which includes recommended prequalification outcomes. Risk teams within general contractors use COMPASS to set standards and review exceptions. Project teams view these results directly in Procore, where bidding and award processes occur.

Geoff Lewis, Senior Vice President of Product at Procore, stated that prequalification requires purpose-built tools and a data-rich platform. He noted that deepening the partnership with Bespoke Metrics allows Procore to integrate insights into its AI-powered platform. According to Lewis, this integration replaces passive, static forms with active risk intelligence, enabling customers to make faster risk management decisions.

The technical integration connects COMPASS to Procore through the Model Context Protocol, an emerging standard for information sharing between AI systems. Bespoke Metrics and Procore are developing agentic AI prequalification features on this connection. A COMPASS Risk Agent is expected later this year, which will allow project teams to view subcontractor status within Procore from bid to award.

Data privacy remains central to the architecture. Subcontractors control which general contractors can access their COMPASS profiles. Financial statements remain stored in COMPASS rather than migrating to Procore. Only the resulting Q Score and prequalification outcomes are transmitted to the Procore environment.

Michael Ho, Founder and CEO of Bespoke Metrics, compared the construction industry's reliance on forms to lending practices that require credit scores. He stated that making COMPASS the preferred solution inside Procore places an independent risk rating at the center of contractor selection. Ho described this shift as beneficial for general contractors and particularly advantageous for subcontractors who earn the rating.

Bespoke Metrics describes COMPASS as the largest global construction prequalification network. The platform connects more than 400 general contractors and 150,000 subcontractors across 33 countries. These entities represent more than $1 trillion in annual construction volume. The network uses standardized data collection and verification to assess operational expertise, financial capacity, and health and safety track records.
