Six retired friends from Los Angeles are attending four professional and college football games in six days, a schedule that expanded from a planned Alabama-Georgia matchup to include Major League Baseball and two NFL contests.
The group, identified as Gil, Falo, Joe, Mike, Rudy and Bernie, originally booked tickets for the SEC showdown at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa three months prior.
Their itinerary changed when they realized the Los Angeles Dodgers were playing the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series on the day they were scheduled to arrive in the region.
The group flew into Atlanta and purchased tickets to the baseball game before driving to Tuscaloosa.
