Where legacy tooling hits its limit

Detection in traditional security architecture depends on signatures matched against known patterns, with response latency built into every stage of that pipeline. AI changes the economics on the attacker side. Vulnerability discovery that once required significant skilled effort can now move faster. The exploitation window compresses accordingly.

CrowdStrike's CEO made the case Thursday that legacy tools are structurally unsuited to that compressed timeline.
