Steven Borden was taken to the hospital for evaluation after sustaining a head injury during his debut at an AEW pay-per-view. The incident occurred on Saturday night at the All Out event, where Borden teamed with Darby Allin to face Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher.

Borden, the son of pro wrestler Sting, entered the match seeking a victory that would position him and Allin as No. 1 contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championship. The match ended abruptly when Borden and Knight attempted a simultaneous move from opposite turnbuckles. Knight appeared to land his maneuver, but Borden fell heavily, striking the back of his head on the mat.

An AEW referee stopped the contest, awarding the win to Knight and Fletcher. Shortly after the incident, AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone reported during the show that Borden was conscious and responsive and had been transported to a hospital for further assessment.

AEW owner Tony Khan provided additional details in the post-event media scrum, stating that Borden was awake and responsive upon arrival at the hospital. Khan confirmed that Borden underwent a CT scan and that all tests returned good results. Khan expressed hope that Borden would fly home to his family the following day.

With Borden sidelined, Knight and Fletcher remain in position to face the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship. The titles were recently captured by Nick and Matt Jackson in a three-way ladder match that included Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, as well as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
